   Case made was as folls vizt. Maryland Kent County Ss Nathaniell Berry of~
   Kent County Planter otherwise called Nathll. Berry of Kent County Planter
   was Summoned to Answer unto Giles Bond Mariner of a plea that he
   render unto him the Just Sume of four hundred and fifty pounds of Cleane
   Every ways Merchantable Tobo in Casque of the value of four pounds ten
   Shillings Currant^Silvermoney of the afd Province of Maryland which from~
   him he unjustly detains &ca.   And Whereupon the Same Giles by
   James Earle his attry Says that Whereas the afd Nathaniel Berry
   the third day of June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred
   & fourteen at Chester New Town in Kent County afd and within
   the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his Certain Bill obligatory with
   the Seale of him the Said Nathaniel Sealed acknowledged —
   himselfe to owe and Stand indebted to the afd Giles in the afd
   Sume of four hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco qualified
   & Conditioned as afd in Cask as afd to be paid to the Same Giles
   on ye then dwelling Plantation on Langfords Bay (of the Said
   Nathaniel Berry) at or before the tenth day of November next~
   Ensuing the afd third day of June in the Year one Thousand Seven
   hundred and fourteen afd and for the performance thereof the afd —
   Nathll. Berry did bind himselfe his heires Executors Administrators
   firmly by the Same bill Nevertheless the afd Nathl Berry altho’
   often requested the afd Sume of four hundred and fifty pounds of
   Tobacco Qualified and Conditioned as afd in Casque Convenient on ye
   afd Plantation of the afd Nathl at Langfords Bay afd of the afd value
   of four pounds ten Shillings Currt~. Silver money afd to the afd Giles
   hath not paid but the Same to him to pay hath refused & Still doth
   refuse to the damage of the Said Giles nine pounds Currant Silver
   money afd & therefore he brings this Sute &ca. and also brings into
   Court the bill obligatory afd whose date is the day & Year afd first~
   above written which Testifieth ye debt afd &ca                    Jno Doe—
                                         Ja Earle pr Querr Pledges &ca.     Richd Roe—
    And the Said Deft being called came and the Said Plt~ by his afd
   attry. prays that the Said Deft may give Special baile to the afd Accõn
   which is Granted and on which Daniel Dyer of Said County comes
   into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Special baile in the afd Accõn
   and doth undertake the Payment of the Debt afd and Cost thereon~
   Accruing if the afd Plt Shall obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft
