   County Sst. John Sutton of Kent County planter otherwise called John Sutton
   of Kent County Carpenter was Summoned to Answer unto Giles Bond
   Mariner of a plea that he render unto him the full & Just Quantity of~
   one Thousand three hundred and fourty pounds of Clean every well
   Conditioned Tobo. wth Casque to Containe the Same of the value of —
   thirteen pounds three Shillings and four pence Currant Silver money
   of the afd Province of Maryland which from him he unjustly —
   detains &ca. And Whereupon the Same Giles by James Earle his
   attry Says that Whereas the afd John Sutton the twenty fourth
   day of August Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred &
   fourteen at Chester new Town in Kent County afd and within
   ye Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his certain bill obligatory with—
   the Seale of the Said John Sealed acknowledged himselfe towe
   owe & Stand indebted to the afd Giles in the afd Sum or Quantity
   of one Thousand three hundred & forty pounds of Tobo. qualified
   and Conditioned as afd in Caske to Contains ye Same as afd to be
   paid to ye Same Giles Convenient in Chester River by or before ye.
   tenth day of November next Ensuing the afd Twenty fourth day
   of August in ye Year Seventeen hundred & fourteen afd and for
   ye performance thereof the afd John Sutton did bind himselfe
   his heires Executors & Administrators firmly by the Same bill
   Nevertheless the afd John altho’ often requested the afd Sume
   of one Thousand three hundred and fourty pounds of Tobo
   qualified and Conditioned as afd in Cask Convenient as afd to
   Containe the Same of the afd value of thirteen pounds three
   Shillings & four pence Currant Silver money afd to the afd Giles
   hath not paid but the Same to him to pay hitherto hath——
   refused and Still doth refuse to the Damage of the Said Giles —
   Twenty pounds Currant Silver money afd and therefore he brings
   this Sute &ca. and also brings into Court ye bill obligatory afd
   whose date is the day and year first above written which Testifi:
  :eth the debt afd &ca James Earle pr Querr pls &ca Jno Do Richd Roe
   And the Said Deft being Called came And the Said Plt by his
   attry afd prays that the Said Deft may give Special baile to —
   the afd Accõn which is granted   After which Michael Hacket~.
   of Said County here in Court cometh and acknowledged himselfe
   as Special baile in the afd Accon (that is to Say) He doth undertake
