   351                                    March Court 1717
   to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the afd Edward
   Scott Shall not render &ca. . The Court gives rule to the Said Deft to
   Plead by the Twentieth day of March in ye morning or elce Judgmt
   to be rendered for want of the Same
    After which the Said Deft~. in his proper person appears to the
   above Accõn and Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Accon afd of
   him the Said Plt. nor but that the bill obligatory above mentioned
   is his Act and deed and that he oweth to the afd Plt the afd SUme of—
   Six hundred pounds of Tobacco and is willing that Judgment Should
   be entered for the Same and Cost thereon Accruing :   Therefore it
   is Considered by the Court here vizt this Twentieth day of March—
   Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen—
   that the afd Plt Dennis Sullivane do recover against the Said
   Deft Richard Fullstone as well the afd Sume of Six hundred
   pounds of Tobacco Debt as also the Sume of Three hundred —
   and Eight pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his —
   Sute in this behalfe Expended and by the Court hereof—
   his assent adjudged And the Said Deft~ in mercy &ca.

   Giles Bond | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
           at | the Twenty third day of November in the Second
   John Sutton | Year of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he

take John Sutton of Kent County Planter if he
   Should be found in his Bailywick & him Safe keep So that he
   have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court
   to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County
   to Answer unto Giles Bond Mariner of a plea that he render
   unto him the full & just Quantity of one Thousand three hundred
   and fourty pounds of cleane every well Conditioned Tobo with Casque
   to Containe the Same of the value of thirteen pounds three Shillings
   and four pence Current Silver money of ye afd province of Maryland .
   which from him he unjustly detains &ca. And that he have then and
   there the Said writ &ca. . . . . Att which Said next Court vizt. the
   Eighteenth day of March the Same Year last mentioned the day of-
   return of Said writ Came Simon Wilmer Gent~. high Sherf. of Said
   County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls
   viz Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf. . And A Decln being
   fild when Said writ Issued and a Copy thereof Served therewith according
   to Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as folls vizt. Maryland Kent
