                                    March Court 1717                                    350
   writ came Simon Wilmer Gent~ high Sherf of Said County and made
   return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi—
   Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf. . And A Decln fild in Said Accon~
   before writ Issued and a Copy thereof Served therewith According to
   Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as folls vizt Kent County Ss
   Richard Fullstone of Kent County Cooper alis Dics Richard Fullstone
   of Kent County in ye Province of Maryland Cooper was Summoned to
   Answer unto Denis Sullicane of a plea that he render him the
   Just & full Sume of Six hundred pounds of good Sound Mer:
  :chantable leafe Tobacco clear of all manner of trash and ground
   leaves in Cask of ye value of Six pounds Sterling money which—
   he unjustly detains &ca- And Whereupon the afd Denis by
   Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that whereas the afd Richard
   the Twenty Second day of March Anno Domini Seventeen hund:
  :red & fourteen at St Pauls Parish in Kent County in the Jurisdiciõn
   of this Court by his certain bill obligatory which he the Said
   Richard Sealed with his Seale and as his deed delivered hereinto
   Court brought the date whereo fis the Same day & Year afd Bound
   himselfe to pay to the Said Dennis the afd Just & full Sume of-
   Six hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tobacco —
   clear of all manner of trash & ground leaves in Cask of the afd -
   value of Six Pounds Sterling money Convenient in Said County
   at or upon the tenth day of November next Ensuing the date of
   the Said Bill Nevertheless the afd Richard altho’ often required
   the afd Six hundred pounds of Tobacco to the Said Dennis hath not
   rendered or paid but that to render or pay the Said Richard hither:
  :to hath denied and Yet doth deny and unjustly detaine to the damages
   of the Said Dennis twelve pounds Sterling money and thereupon~
   he brings Sute &ca.    TBowne pr Querr Pls &ca. Jno Doe & Rd Roe
   And the Said Deft being called Came and the Said Plt by his
   afd Attry Prays that the Said Deft may give Special baile to
   the afd Accõn which is granted   After which Edward Scott of
   Said County here unto Court came And Acknowledged himselfe as
   Special baile in the afd Accõn (that is to Say) He doth undertake for
   the afd Deft~. the payment of the Debt afd and Cost thereon accruing
   if the Said Plt Shall obtaine Judgment in the Said Accõn of Debt
   and the Said Deft~. the Condemnation Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe
