   William Frisby - | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
             at | twenty third day of November in the Second Year
   Laughlin Flinn | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca. that he take

Laughland Flinn of Kent County Inholder alis Dics. —
   Laughn Fflinn of Kent County Inholder if he Should be found be found in
   his Bailywick and him Safe keep So that he have his body before his
   Said Lordships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the
   Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto William Frisby by ye
   name of William Frisby of Kent County Sherf. of a plea that he render him
   the neat quantity of three Thousand Seventy Six pounds of good bright
   & Sound Tobacco Clear of all manner of ground leaves or trash with
   Cask to Contain ye Same of the value of thirty pounds Sterling money
   which he unjustly detains &ca. And that he have then and there
   the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth—
   day of March the Same year Last mentioned the day of return of~
   Said writ Came Simon Wilmer Gent~. high Sherf. of Said County and made
   return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus
   pr Simon Wilmer Sherf. . . . And A Decln being fild when Sd
   writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof Served therewith according to
   Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as folls vizt. Kent County Ss Laughland
   Flinn of Kent County Inholder alis Dics Laughn Fflinn of Kent County
   Inholder was Summoned to Answer unto William Frisby by ye name
   of William Frisby of Kent County Sherf. of a plea that he render him the~
   neat quantity of three Thousand Seventy Six pounds of good bright &
   Sound Tobacco Clear of all manner of ground leaves or trash with Cask to
   Contain ye Same of the value of thirty pounds Sterling money which~
   he unjustly detains &ca. And Whereupon the afd Plt~. by Thomas Bowne
   his attr. Saith that whereas the afd Deft~ the Twenty Second day of June
   in the Year of our Lord Christ~ one Thousand Seven hundred and Seven
  :teen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this
   Court by his Certain writing obligatory which he the Said Deft~ Sealed
   with his Seale and as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought the
   date whereof is the Same day and Year afd granted himselfe holden—
   and firmly bound unto ye afd Plt. in the afd neat Quantity of three Thousand
   Seventy Six pounds of good bright and Sound Tobacco clear of all mannr.
   of ground leaves or trash with Cask to Contain the Same of the afd value
   of thirty pounds Sterling money to be paid to ye afd Plt~. when thereunto
   required Nevertheless the afd Deft~. altho’ often required the afd Sum[e]
   of three Thousand Seventy Six pounds of Tobacco to ye afd Plt~ hath not paid
   but that to him to render or pay hath altogether denied and Still doth deny
   and unjustly detain to the damage of him the afd Plt~ Sixty pounds Sterling
