   And the afd Plt by his afd Attry. prays Judgment for Attachment agst. the
   afd Deft. for that the Said Deft~. is absented himselfe out of the prove.
   So that he Cannot be taken by the Sherf of Said County   Therefore it is
   Considered by the Court here vizt. This Twentieth day of March Anno —
   Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen That for the
   afd Summe of five hundred pounds of Tobacco Sebt as also the Sume
   of Two hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his
   Sute in this behalfe Expended And that the afd Plt have an Attach :
  :ment~ against the goods and Chattells Rights and Creditts of the afd —
   Deft~ for the Same Sumes afd which amounts in the whole to the Sume
   of Seven hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco

   Peter Read | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
           at | Twenty third day of November in the Second Year
   Simon Tillett  | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he take Symon
   Tillett of Kent County Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick &
   him safe keep So that he have his body before his said Lord Ships Justices
   of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said
   County to Answer unto Peter Read of a plea of Trespass of ye Case and
   that he have then and there the Said writ &ca Att which Said next Court
   vizt the Eighteenth day of March the Same Year last mentioned the day
   of return of Said writ came Simon Wilmer Gent~. high Sherf of Said —
   County and made return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as -
   folls vizt. Non Est Inventus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf And a Short~
   note which was fild in the office is as folls vizt. Reter Read agst. Simon
   Tillett.. Tra: Ca: the true Cause of Accõn is that the Said Peter did become
   baile for the Said Simon Tilletts appearance in an Accõn of Trespass
   of the Case against him at the Sute of William Nicholson whereby he
   had Damages to the value of Eight Thousand pounds of Merchantable —
   Tobacco . . TBowne pr Querr pls Jno Doe & Richd Roe . . And now at~
   this Court Came the afd Plt. and alleadged that the Said Deft was —
   fleed from Justice and runaway out of the County And on which the
   Said Plt. by his attorney afd prays Judgment for Attachment~ agst.
   the Goods and Chattells rights and Creditts of the afd Deft for the afd —
   Sume of Eight Thousand pounds of Tobacco and Cost thereon accruing
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twentieth day .
   of March Annoqe Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and —
   Seventeen That~ the afd Plt. Peter Read have an Attachment~
   against the Goods and Chattells Rights and Creditts of the afd Deft
