   And the afd Deft being Called came And the afd Plt by his attry afd prays that the
   Said Deft may give Special baile to ye afd Accon which is granted: after which —
   Jonas Lanham of Said County here in Court cometh and Acknowledges himselfe
   as Speciall baile in the afd Accõn (that is to Say) he doth undertake the payment
   of the damages afd and Cost thereon Accruing if in Case the afd Plt. Shall obtaine
   Judgment against the Said Deft in the Said Accõn of Trespass of the Case and
   the Deft~ the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody
   of the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the Said Josias Lanham the body
   of the Said John Jones Shall not render &ca.
   And the afd Deft in his proper person appears to the afd Accõn and this
   Court orders that the Sd Deft. plead to the afd Accon by the Twentieth day of March
   otherwise Judgment to be rendered for want of the Same . Sent afterwars the
   Said Deft. comes into Court and Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Accon afd of
   him the Said Plt nor but that he oweth on balle to the Said Plt. the afd Sume
   of Eight hundred Sixty four pounds of Tobacco and is willing that Judgmt.
   Should be entered for the Same & Cost thereon Accruing : Therefore it is
   Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twentieth day of March Anno Domini
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen That the afd Plt. Jonathan Page
   do recover against the Said Deft~ John Jones as well the afd Sume of Eight
   hundred Sixty four pounds of Tobacco Damages as also the Sume of ffive
   hundred Twenty four pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his Sute in~
   this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent adjudged And the
   Said Deft~ in mercy &ca —

   yor. Bailywick & him Safe keep So that yo. have his body before the Justices of our next County
   Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the Third Tuesday in March
   next to Satisfie unto Richard Davis as well the Sume of Twelve hundred and fifty pounds of Tobo—
   Debt by the afd Plt recovered against the Said Deft before the Justices of our Said Court on the Twenty
   Second day of March last whereof he was Convict as appears upon Record as also the Sume of~
   Two hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobo Cost of Sute as also the Sume of forty Six pounds of —
   Tobo. additionall Cost hereof faile not at yor Perill and have yo. then and there this writ
   witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent~. chiefe Justice of our Said Court this Twenty third -
   day of November in the Second Year of our Dominion &ca Anno Domini 1717
