March Court 1717 332 of Ninety four pounds of Merchantable Tobacco for the like Sume of Tobo by the afd Deft to the proper use and behoofe of the afd Plt~ before that~ time of Certain John Moll had Received and So thereof being Indebted the afd Deft~ afterwards vizt. the afd fifteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred & fifteen at the Parish afd in the County & — Jurisdiciõn afd In Consideration thereof upon himselfe Assumed & to the Said Plt then and there last mentioned faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft~ the afd Sume of Ninety four pounds of Merchantable Tobo- to the Said Plt~. when thereunto required would well and truly pay & Content~ And that Whereas also the afd Plt. afterwards vizt. the ninth day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred & ffifteen and untill this time was at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County— within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court an approved Inholder and ordinary keeper and as Such Sold vended and delivered to divers Inhabitants of this Province and other persons divers Liquors and found & provided other Suteable Accomodations during which Said time of the Said Plts So keeping an Inn or ordinary viz the afd nineth day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred & fifteen at St. Pauls Parish in~ Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court the Said Plt at the Speciall Instance and request of the afd Deft~ had then and there last Said Sold and delivered to the Said Deft~. and to the proper use and behoofe of the afd Deft~ divers Liquors and found and provided other Suteable Accomodations in an Acocunt hereunto Annexed at the Severall Rates and prices in Said Account Sett forth in the — whole Amounting unto the Summe of Eight hundred & thirty three pounds of Merchantable Tobacco upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt~ then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Deft the afd Sume of Eight hundred and thirty three pounds of Tobacco to the Said Plt when thereunto required would well and truly pay & Content And that Whereas also the afd Deft~ afterwards vizt. the afd Nineth day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ One Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court being an Inn— :holder and ordinary keeper In Consideration that the afd Plt at the like Special Instance and request of the afd Deft~ had then and there last mentioned Sold & delivered to ye afd Deft and to the proper use and behoof of the afd Deft divers Liquors and found and provided other Suteable Accomodations in an Accot. hereto annexed Specifically Sett upon himselfe Assumed and to the Said Plt then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Deft So much Merchantable Tobacco as the afd last menti: :oned Liquors & other Accomodations Sold found and Provided as afd were at the time of the Sa[le] finding Providing and Delivery thereof at reasonable rates and prices worth and Amounted to unto the Sd Plt when thereunto required would well and truly pay & Content And ye afd Plt indeed Saith that the afd last mentioned Liquors and other Accomodations Sold found & Provided as afd at the time of the Sale finding & Providing thereof at reasonable rates & Prices were worth and Amounted unto the Sume of Eight hundred & thirty three pounds of Merchantable Tobacco in Manner and |
