   Jonathn Page | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
          at | Twenty third day of November in the Second Year
   John Jones - | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca That he take John
   ~~~~~~~~~
Jones of Kent County Planter if he Should be found in
   his Bailywick and him safe keep So that he have his body before
   his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court~
   house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Jonathan
   Page of a plea of Trespass of the Case and that he have then and there
   the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day
   of March the Same Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ
   Came Simon Wilmer Gent~. high Sherf of Said County and made
   return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi—
   Corpus pr S:Wilmer Sherf. And A Decln Being fild when Said
   writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof Served therewith according to
   Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as folls vizt. Kent County Ss John
   Jones of Kent County planter Stands Attaiched to Answer unto .
   Jonathan Page of a plea of Trespass of the Case And Whereupon
   the afd Plt. by Thomas Bowne his attry Complaineth that whereas
   the afd Deft~ the first day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one
   Thousand Seven hundred and fourteen at St: Pauls Parish in Kent—
   County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court In Consideration that the
   afd Plt. at the Special instance and request of the afd Deft~ as a
   Boarder and Lodger and for the Space of four months then next before
   Lodged and boarded the afd Deft~ and found and provided for the afd
   Deft~ Sufficient Meat drink washing & Lodging during the Said time
   and other Necessarys fitting for Such a border and Lodger upon him:
  :Selfe Assumed and to the Said Plt~ then and there faithfully promised
   that he the Said Deft~. So much Merchantable Tobacco as he the Said
   Plt. for the afd Lodging and Boarding found & provided as afd Should reason:
  :ably deserve unto the Said Plt. when thereunto he the Said Deft~ Should
   be required would well and truly pay and Content and the afd Plt in deed
   Saith that he the afd Plt~ for the afd Lodging and Boarding found and
   provided as afd reasonably deserved the Sume of four hundred pounds of
   Merchantable Tobacco fo which the afd Deft~ by the afd Plt. then and
   there had Notice And that whereas also the afd Deft~ afterwards vizt.
   the fourteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand—
   Seven hundred & fifteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within
   the Jurisdiciõn of this Court was indebted unto the Said Plt~ in the Sume
