   329                                 March Court 1717
   County untill he Shall Give Special baile as afd
      After which the Said Josiah Crouch Came into Court and Saith that
   he cannot gainsay the accõn afd of the Said Plt nor but that the writing
   obligatory above mentioned is his Act and deed and is willing that—
   Judgment Shall be entered for the Same and Cost thereon Accruing-
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twentieth
   day of March Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and -
   Seventeen That the afd Plt William Frisby do recover against the
   Said Deft~ Josiah Crouch as well the afd Sume of Three Thousand —
   Eight hundred Sixty eight pounds of Tobacco Debt as also the Sume
   of ffour hundred and eight pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt~ -
   about his Suite in this behalfe expended and by the Court here
   of his assent adjudged and the Said Deft~ in mercy &ca

   Josiah Crouch ~ | November in the Second Year of his Lord

Ships Dominion &ca. That he take Josias


Crouch of Kent County Planter alis Dics Josias
   Crouch of Kent County if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him
   Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said Lord ships Justices -
   of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in
   Said County to Answer unto William Glanvill of Said County of a plea~
   that he render him the full Sume and Just Quantity of Six hundred —
   eighty & three pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tobacco clean
   and Clear of all manner of trash and Ground leaves and Cask to Contain
   the Same of the price and value of Six pounds Sterling money which—
   from him he unjustly detains &ca. And that he have then and there the
   Said writ &ca.   Att which Said next Court vizt. the eighteenth day of March
   the Same Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ came Simon—
   Wilmer Gent~ high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in
   these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr S:Wilmer Sherf.
   And A Decln being fild when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof—
   Served therewith according to Act of Assembly in Such case made was as —
   folls vizt Kent County Ss. Josias Crouch of Kent County Planter alis Dics Josias
   Crouch of Kent County was Summoned to Answer unto William Glanvill
   of Said County a plea that he render him the full Sume and just Quantity of
   Six hundred Eighty & three pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe —
   Tobacco clean and clear of all manner of trach and Ground Leaves and —
