   Said Plt. the value of five hundred and fifty Eight pounds of Tobacco
   of the afd Sume of Nine hundred and Seventy two pounds of Tobacco
   and thirteen Shillings Currant money of Maryland Part Yet the afd
   Deft his promise and Assumption as to the Sume of four hundred
   and fourteen pounds of Tobacco and Thirteen Shillings Currant money
   of Maryland of the afd Nine hundred and Seventy two pounds of~.
   Tobacco and Thirteen Shillings Currant money of Maryland residue
   litle regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending him the
   Said Plt. of the afd Sume of four hundred and fourteen pounds of—
   Tobacco and thirteen Shillings Currant money of Maryland craftily
   to deceive and defraud the afd Sume of Thirteen Shillings Currant~.
   money of Maryland the Same Deft~ to him the Said Plt. hath not
   paid nor made Content for the Same altho that to pay the Same
   Deft. the Sixth day of November in the Year of our Lord Christ~.
   Seventeen hundred and Seventeen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent~
   County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by the Said Plt. was
   thereunto required but the Said Deft the afd Sume of ffour —
   hundred and fourteen pounds of Tobacco and the afd Summe of~
   thirteen Shillings Currant money of Maryland to the Said Plt.
   to pay or Content hitherto hath denied and Still doth denie
   to the damage of him the Said Plt. Eight hundred pounds of~
   like Tobacco afd and Twenty Six Shillings Currant money afd and

   and now at this Court came the afd Plt by his attry afd and prayd that
   the Deft. might to his Decln afd Answer : And the Said Deft being Called.
   came   And the afd Plt by his attry afd prayd that the afd Deft might~
   give Speciall baile to the afd Accõn which is granted and that he be —
   kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Special
   baile as afd . .    After which Came into Court Josiah Lanham of Said County
   and Acknowledged himself as Specially baile in the afd Accon and doth under
   take the payment of the Damages & Cost afd if it Shall happen that the Said
   Plt. Shall obtaine Judgment against~ the Said Deft in the Said Accõn
