	March Court 1717 302 Sum of fifteen Shillings and nine pence Currant money of Maryland in Manner and form as in the S^d Account Sett forth of which the af^d. Def^t. then and there last mentioned had Notice And that whereas Also the af^d. Def^t. — afterwards viz. the Second day of August in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at S^t. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdicition of this Court In Consideration that the afores^d Pltf att the like Speciall Instance and Request of the af^d. Def^t. had then and there Last mentioned Sold and delivered to the S^d Def^t. and to the proper Use & behoof of the af^d. Def^t. diverse liquors and found and provided other Suitable Accomo: :dations in an Account hereunto Annexed Specifically at the Severall Rates & prices in the Said Account Sett forth which in the whole amounts unto the Sum of four hundred and eighty pounds of Merchantable tob^o. upon himself Assumed and to the Said Pltf then and there Last mentioned faithfully promised y^t he the S^d Def^t. the afores^d Sum of four hundred and eighty pounds of Mer= =chantable Tob^o. to the Said Pltf. when thereunto required would well and turely pay and Content. And that whereas Also the af^d. Def^t. afterwards viz. the afores^d Second day of August in the year of our Lord Christ one— thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at the parish County & Jurisdiction afores^d. In Consideration that the af^d. Pltff. at the like Special Instance and Request of the af^d Def^t. had then and there last mentioned Sold & delivered unto the af^d Def^t. to the proper Use and behoof of the af^d. Def^t. diverse liquors and found and provided for the af^d. Def^t. other Suitable Accomodations in an— Account hereunto annexed Specifically Sett forth upon himself assumed and to y^e S^d Pltff then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the S^d Def^t. So much Merchantable Tob^o. as the af^d last mentioned liquors and other Acco= =modations Sold found and provided as afores^d were at the time of the Sale finding and providing w as aforesaid at reasonable rates and prices worth and amounted to unto the S^d Pltff. when thereunto required would well and truly pay and Content And the af^d Pltff indeed Say’th that the af^d. last mentioned liquors and other Accommodations Sold found and provided as af^d. at the time of the Sale finding and providing ~~as afd~~ thereof at reasonable rates and prices were worth and amounted unto the Sum of four hundred and eighty pounds of Merchantable tob^o. in manner and form as in the Said Account Sett forth of which the S^d Def^t. then & there last mentioned had Notice And that whereas also the af^d. Pltff. afterwards viz. the first day of October in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at S^t. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court by Lawfull License kept an Ordinary and house of Entertainment and Sold and vended unto the Inhabitants of this Province and other persons liquors and other ordinary Accomodations According to and at the Usual and respective Rates and prices assessed by the Justices and Commissioners for the af^d. Kent County in their Said Court Sitting during which Said time of the S^d Pltffs So keeping Ordinary as last~ Said viz. the first day of October in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at S^t. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court the S^d Def^t. In Consideration the af^d. Pltff. at the like Special Instance and request of the S^d Def^t. had then and there last mentioned had Vended Sold and delivered unto the S^d Def^t. for his the Said Def^ts. Use one quart of Cyder at y^e Usuall and Ordinary Rate and price Assessed as af^d. (as by the Record of the S^d Rates and prices here remaining may appear) and which S^d Cyder in an Account hereunto annexed is Specifically Shown amounting in the whole unto the Sum of four- pounds of Merchantable tob^o. upon himself assumed and to the S^d Pltff. then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the S^d Def^t. the af^d. Sum of four pounds of Merchantable tobacco to the Said Pltff. when thereunto required would well and truly pay and Content . Nevertheless the af^d Def^t. his Several promises and Assumptions af^d. in form af^d. made as to the af^d Severall Summs of money and Tob^o. which in the whole amounts unto the Sum of one pounds eleven Shillings and Six pence Currant money of Maryland and nine hundred and Sixty eight pounds of Merchantable tobacco he hath not minded nor in any wise kept but plotting and fraudulently intending him the S^d. Pltff. of the af^d Summ of one
