281 November Court 1717 to receive as in the Judgment afd and then to bring him into Court againe Att which Said Court vizt. the Same day last mentioned came Simon Wilmer high Sherf of Said County and made return of his Said precept as folls vizt In all things Served and Executed pr SWilmer Sherf ordered by the Court here that the Said James Smith go to his masters Service againe at the Expiration to be delivered up to the Sherf or Court but afterwards the Said Francis Collins and the afd Servant James Smith Comes into Court and the Said Francis Collins Saith that he doth discharge the Said James Smith from all manner of Service bargains Debts Accots. and Reconings whatsoever to the day afd And now the Same day afd afterwards came the Said James Smith and Saith that he discharges his Said Master from all manner of bargains Contracts or any other matter or thing whatsoever from the begining of the world to the day afd last mentioned And now the Said Court Orders that the Sherf Said County keep the Said James Smith in safe Custody untill the Said James Smith Shall pay the four fold in the Judgment afd and also the Thirty Shillings the goods Stoln to the Said John Lux as - also pay the Severall officers of this Court the Sume of Two Thousand and ninety and nine pounds of Tobacco the Cost in the Judgment afd ordered by the Court here that the Clerk of this Court Sett up notes . that the Said James Smith is to be Sold as a Servant to any prson that will pay the afd Sumes of money amounting to Seven pounds . tenn Shills. Currant money and The Afd Sume of Two Thousand . and ninety^ninepounds of Tobacco After which the Same day last mentioned came Mr. Simon Wilmer of Said Countyand SaithThat he would pay the afd money and Tobo if the Court would dispose of the Said James Smith to him for Seven Years on which this Court here on the Consideration afd that is to Say that the Said Simon Wilmer obliges himselfe to pay unto John Lux afd the Sume of Seven pounds tenn Shillings Currant money and also to pay the afd Two Thousand and ninety nine pds of Tobo to the Severall officers of this Court to whom they are due And now this Court obliges the Said James Smith to Serve the Said Simon Wilmer for and during the Space of Seven Years to be full Completed and Ended from ye day of the date hereof .
