November Court 1717 280 and dignity &ca. & against the form of an Act of Assembly &ca Johnson pr Dnõn propr on the back of the preceeding bill was Endorsed as folls vizt: true bill pr John Evans foreman And now at this Court Came the afd James Smith and in his proper person appeared to the afd Indictment And pleads not guilty and for tryall puts himselfe on God and the Country James Smith in proper person And he who follows for the Lord Proprietarie in like manner Johnson - Thereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that he cause to come here Twelve &ca. By whome &ca. To Recognize &ca. Because as well &ca who neither &ca. And the Sherf comes and Saith that he hath~ Ready twelve as Commanded who being called came as folls vizt Roger Hailes Richd Davis James Piner Oliver Palmer William Blackiston William Crow Thomas Joce Zachariah Mackdaniel Peter Cowarding Rice Jones .
