   273                              November Court 1717
   Accõn which is granted on which the afd John Johnson comes into -
   Court and acknowledges himself Security for the afd Plt that if the .
   afd Deft~ Shall appeare to the afd Accõn and Cast the Said Plt in the
   Accon afd that then he will pay the Cost if the Plt pay it not himselfe
   And the Said Deft being called came and the Said Plt by his attry
   afd prays that the Said Deft~ may give Special baile to the afd Accõn
   which is granted and that he be kept in safe Custody by the Sherf of—
   Said County untill he Shall give Special baile as afd
   after which comes into Court George Hastins of Said County and —
   acknowledges himselfe as Special baile in the afd Accõn and doth
   undertake for the afd Deft~ the payment of the Damages^and Costsprovided
   it doth not Amount to above Three Thousand pounds of Tobacco
   if the Plt Shall obtain Judgment in the afd Accõn of Trespass upon—
   the Case and the Said Deft~ the Condemnation aShall not Satisfie
   nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver or
   that the Said George Hastins the body of the Said Deft Shall not render
   &ca. or Pay as afd
   And the Said Deft~ in his proper person appeared to the afd Accon~
   and prayd liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at next
   Court which is granted the Same day is given the Plt~ also ——
   Nathl Hynson | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent-
           at | County the twenty Second day of August in the
   Cornelius Dee— | Second Year of his Lordships Dominion &ca.


That he take Cornelius Dee of Kent County Planter
   if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him safe keep So that~
   he have his body before his Said Lordships Justices of the next County
   Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said -
   County to Answer unto Nathaniel Hynson of a plea of Trespass -
   upon the Case~ and that he have then and there the Said writ &ca.
   Att which Said next Court vizt. the nineteenth day of November the
   Same Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came Simon
   Wilmer Gent high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these
   words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr S:Wilmer Sherf.
   And the Said Deft~ being called came And the afd Plt. proves.
   an Accot. against the Said Deft~ for the Sume if ffour pounds Six
  :teen Shillings and Six pence Currant money on which the Said —
   Plt by Thomas Bowne his attry prays that the Said Deft~
   may give Speciall baile to the afd Accõn which is granted and
