   and Acknowledged himselfe as Special baile in the afd Accõn and doth
   undertake the Payment of the debt afd and Cost thereon Accrueing
   if in case the Said Plt Shall obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft
   in the afd Accõn of Debt and the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie
   nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherff~ of Said County deliver or-
   that the Said Robert Dunn the body of the Said Deft Shall not render &ca
      After which the Said Deft came into Court and in his proper person~
   appeared to the Said Accõn and Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Accõn~
   afd of him the Said Plt nor but that the writing obligatory afd above
   mentioned is his Act & Deed and is willing that Judgment Should
   be entred for the Same obligation and Cost thereon accrewing ==
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. the Twenty
   first day of November Annoque Domini One Thousand Seven~
   hundred and Seventeen That the afd Plt. John March do recover agst.
   the Said Deft Thomas Joce as well the afd Sume of Eleven hundred -
   and forty pounds of Tobacco the Debt afd as also the Sume of Three hundred
   twenty Two pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his Suite in this
   behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the
   Said Deft~ in Mercy &ca ———

   part of the afd Debt in ye Judgment afd. the Sume of Six hundred pds
   of Tobacco . which Said Sume he relinqueshes the afd Deft~ Thos Joce

and him Safe keep So that he have his body before the
   Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester
   in Said County to Answer unto Timothy Hurly of a plea of Trespass upon ye Case
   and that he have then and there the Said writ &ca. . .    Att which Said next~
   Court vizt. the nineteenth day of November ye Same Year afd the day of return of
   Said writ Came Simon Wilmer Gent~. high Sherf of Said County and made [return]
   thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus p SWilmer Sherf.
    And now at this Court the Said Deft being Called Came. And the Said Plt by
   Thomas Bowne his attry. and prayd the Said Deft might give Special
