     211                                       June Court 1717
   Michael Coulter | dt 512lb tob this Court gives rule to the Plt~ to declare
                at | in twenty days after this Court adjourns otherwise
   Thomas Marcy | a Non Suite to be Entrd for want of a Declaration
   Laughlin Flinn | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
                at | the twenty first day of August in the Second year .
   Chrisr Bateman- | of His Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he take

Christopher Bateman of Kent County Taylor if he
   Should be found in his Bailywick and him Safe keep So that he have his
   body before his Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court
   House in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Laughlin —
   Flinn of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he have then and
   there the Said writ &ca- . Att which Said next Court vizt the Twentieth
   day of November the Same year last mentioned the day of return of Said
   writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of Said County and made—
   return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt Cepi Corpus
   pr Wm Ffrisby Shr ——    Att which Said Court the Same Deft by
   Thomas Bowne his attry came & defened the force and Injury and
   Saving to himself all manner of advantages and Exceptions as well
   to the writ afd as to the Decln of the Said Plt prays liberty thereof to
   imparle thereto and to answer at next Court The Same day was —
   given the Plt also -
    Att which Said next Court vizt. the nineteenth day of March the
   Same year last mentioned the Same cause was Continued untill the
   then next Court~
    Att which Said next Court the Eighteenth day of June Anno
   Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen the Said
   Cause Standing for tryall Came the Said Plt by James Earle his attry
   and the Deft by Thomas Bowne his attry . The Decln in the
   Same was fild and Issue Joynd on the Country   Demurr to part~
   of the Accot. which the Plt Joynd the Jury discharged as to that pt
   the remaining part the Jury whent out and brought a verdict for
   the Plt~. on which the Same was Continued untill next Court~
   John Johnson | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
                at | the twenty first day of August in the Second Year
   Thomas Tolley | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he take
   Thomas Tolley late of Kent County Gent if he Should be found in his Baily:
