   Christopher Bateman | Commanded it was to the Sherf of
                at | Kent County the twenty third day of March
   William Turner —       | in the Second Year of his Lordships —
   Dominon &ca. That he take William Turner of Kent County in
   Maryland Mariner if he Should be found in his Bailywick and
   him Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said Lord Ships —
   Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court in the Town of —
   Chester in Said County to Answer unto Christopher Bateman of a —
   plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he have then and there
   the Said writ &ca.    Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day
   of June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seven:
  :teen the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent high—
   Sherrife of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon
   endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf— And a
   Declaration being fild in Said Accon declareing the Cause of Accõn
   it being for the Sume of Twenty one pounds Eleaven Shillings
   and one penney = And the Said Deft being Called Came and the afd
   Plt. by Thomas Bowne his attry prays the Said Deft may give
   Special baile to the afd Accon which is granted and that the Said Deft
   be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherrife of Said County untill he Shall
   give Special baile to the Same Accõn
    After which Laughlin Flinn of Said County here in Court Cameth
   and acknowledeth himselfe Special baile in the afd Accon and doth
   undertake the Payment of the Damages afd and Cost accruing if in case
   the afd Plt Shall obtaine Judgment in the Said Accon of Trespass on~
   the Case and the Said Deft~ the Condemnation Shall not Satisfie nor
   himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the
   afd Laughlin Flinn the body of the Said Deft~ Shall not render &ca.
  &nbsol And the afd Deft by John Johnson his attry comes and defends the
   force and Injury and Saveing to himselfe all manner of advantages
   and Exceptions as well to the writ afd as to the Declaration of the Said
   Plt. prays liberty to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court—
   which is granted the Same day is given the Plt in like manner
