Richard Smithers	\|	Bowne of Said County becomes Surety for Cost if the Plt

   after which the Said Deft~ by John Roberts his att^ry appears to the Same
   Accõn and prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answ^r. at next~
   Court which is granted the Same day is given y^e Plt also

Mary Frogg Ex^rx	\|	D.^t £ 10,,15,,11 returnd Cepi &c^a. And the Said Deft~
John Frogg dec^d —	\|	being called came And the Said Plt by Thomas —
a^t	\|	Bowne her att^ry prays the Said Deft~ may give
Charles Glover— -	\|	Special baile to the above Accõn which is granted

   Planter ali^s Dic^s Richd Mason of Kent County in the Province of Maryland
   Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him safe keep So that
   he have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be
   held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answ^r.
   unto Philemon Loyd of Queen Annes County in y^e afd Province Esquier of
   a plea that he render to him .y^e full & Just Sume of Three Thousand Eighty
   Six pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tob^o & Caske of y^e Value of~
   twelve pounds Seventeen Shill^s. & two pence Sterling money which from
   him he unjustly detains &c^a. And that he have then and there the .
   Said writ &c^a. . . Att which Said next Court viz^t the Eighteenth day of~
   June Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen
   the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of
   Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed
