    Att which Said next Court vizt: the Twenty first day of August Anno
   Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen the Said Deft by
   John Johnson his attry appeared to the above accõn and the Same
   was Continued untill next Court
           Att which Said next Court vizt the nineteenth day of Novembr
   the Same year last mentioned the Said plt by his attr afd came
   and the Deft by his afd attry but no plea being put in by the Sd -
   Deft to the afd Accon on which the Court gives a rule to the Sd
   Deft that he file a plea in twenty one days after the Said Cort.
   otherwise Judgment to be entred for want of the Same
   adjournd ^ and the Same case was Continued untill next Court
           Att which Said next Court viz.t this Twenty Second day of —
   March the Same year last mentioned Came the Said Plt by his -
   attry afd and and alleadged that the Deft had fild no plea in the
   accõn afd nor made any answer thereto whereby the Said plt
   may Still remaine against the Said Deft without defence -
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. the Same
   day last mentioned that is to Say this twenty Second day of~
   March Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and
   Sixteen That the afd Plt Nathaniel Hynson Recover agst
   the Said Deft Robert Maxfield as well the afd Sume of—
   four pounds two Shillings and tenn pence Sterling money and ffive
   thousand five hundred Sixty two pounds of Sound Merchantable
   leafe Tobacco Debt as also the Sume of four hundred Seventy .
   four pounds of Tobacco Cost by the Said plt about his Suite in
   this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent—
   adjudged And that the Said Deft be taken into Custody &ca—
