   Thereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County—
   that he cause to come here twelve &ca By whome &ca. To Recognize
   &ca. Because as well &ca. who neither &ca. And the Sher comes and
   Saith that he hath here ready Twelve &ca. as by his precept it was
   Commanded who being Called came vizt. John Hall William Graves
   Daniel Cooley Rob.t Green Rd Fillingham John Cole Cha Ringgold
   Vincent Hatcheson Richard Scaggs John Clarke Charles Smith
   Daniel Ferril. which Jury being duely Elected tryd and Sworn
   and having heard the Pleadings Evidences and alligations
   on both Sides the Jury with draws and after Some time do —
   againe return to the barr and being called over do appear
   as also the Plt & Deft~ and the Jury being asked whether
   they are agreed on a verdict or not do Say they are agreed on
   a verdict and being demanded whether they find for the plt.
   or Deft do Say they find for the Plt and that the Deft did assume
   in that manner and forme as above declared and find damages
   Eleaven hundred and Twenty five pounds of Tobacco with
   Cost~ and by John Hall there forman all So Say and the afd
   Plt by his attry afd prays Judgment on the verdict afd—
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz the Same day
   last mentioned that is to Say the Twenty Second day of March
   Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen~
   that the afd Plt Cornelius Dea Recover against the Said Deft
   Laughlin Flinn as well the afd Sume of Eleaven hundred
   and twenty and five pounds of Tobacco Damages as also
   the Sume of Six hundred Eighty Seven pounds of Tobacco Cost
   by the afd Plt about his Suite in this behalfe Expended and the
   Said Deft in mercy &ca
