   him ye Said Owen and find and provide for her the Said Mary
   and the Said Child Sufficient meat drink and Lodging at the rate
   and for the Remainder of the time Between the Said Mary and
   Said Owen before agreed upon himself Assumed and to the Said
   Owin then & there (last Said) faithfully promised that he the
   Said James the afd Twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco to the.
   Said Owen when thereunto required would See paid and pay and
   Content and also make for the Said Owen the afd one Tunn of~
   Tobacco hogsheads and altho the Said Owin upon the faithfull
   performance of ye promise and assumption afd of the afd James
   afterwards vizt. the afd Twenty eighth day of Janry in the year afd
   at the County & Jurisdiciõn afd and for So long time as the Said—
   Mary pleased Continued ye Said Mary and Sd Child Sojourners with
   him ye Said Owen and found and provided for her ye Said Mary and
   Said Child Sufficient meat drink and Lodging at the rate and for
   the Remainder of the time Between the Said Mary and Said Owen
   before agreed Yet the afd Twel[ve] hundred pounds of Tobacco
   by the Said Mary Remains unpaid and of all which the Said
   James afterwards vizt. the third day of 9.ber Anno Domi Seventeen
   hundred and fourteen at the County and Jurisdiciõn afd by the Said
   Owin had Notice Nevertheless the Said James his promise and -
   assumption afd hath not minded nor kept but altho’ the Said James
   hath made the Said one Tunn of Tobacco hogsheads in part of
   the afd promise Yet the Said James his promise and assumption
   afd as to the afd twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco little regarding
   but fraudulently intending the Said Owin in that behalfe to -
   deceive and defraud the Said twelve hundred pounds of Tobo
   to the Said Owen altho’ afterwards vizt. the afd third day of 9ber—
   Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and fourteen and often~
   after in the Said Year he was at Kent County afd in the afd Jurisdiciõn
   thereto required hath not paid nor made Content therefore but-
   the Same to pay or Content the Said James hitherto hath denied
   and yett denys to the damage of Said Owin Two Thousand pounds
   of Tobacco and thereupon he brings Suite &ca. TBowne pr Querr
   pls &ca. John Doe and Richard Roe . .    And the Said Plt by
   his attry afd Prays that the Said Deft to his Declaration afd
