   145                              March Court 1716
   Seven hundred and ninety five pounds of Tobacco and also the
   Sume of Two hundred and Eighteen pounds of Tobacco Cost on—
   Judgment afd obtained by the Said Plt against the Said Deft~ on-
   ye fifteenth day of Novembr. Anno Domini one Thousand Seven
   hundred and fifteen And that by good and Lawfull men of your
   Bailiwick you make known unto the person of persons in whose
   hands yo. make the Same attachm.t that he She or they be and
   appear before the Justices of our Said Court to be held as afd to —
   Shew cause if any he She or they have why the Same Goods Chattells
   rights or Creditts So attached in his her or there hands ought not~
   to be Condemned According to Law if to him her or them it Shall
   Seem meet and how you Shall Execute this writ that you make
   known unto our Said Justices at the day and place afd and have
   you then and there this writ witness Edward Scott Gentn one
   of our Justices of our Said Court this 26th day of November in~
   the Said Year of our Dominion &ca. Anno Domi 1716 ——

   Court vizt. the nineteenth day of March the Same Year last—
   mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby
   Gentn high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in—
   these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt To the Justices within
   mentioned in obedience to the within Attachment have Attached
   in the hands of John Berry five hundred pounds of Tobacco—
   before Edward Rogers Senr. and Henry Brooks good and Lawfull
   men of my Bailiwick as within required pr me Wm Ffrisby Sherf
   And now at the Said Court the Same day last mentioned Came the
   afd Plt by Thomas Bowne his attr and prayd Condemnation of the
   afd five hundred pounds of Tobacco Attachd in the hands of the
   afd John Berry as the Creditts of the abovesd Daniel Maggs and
   Proclamation being made for the afd John to come in and appr.
   to the Same to Shew cause if any he hath why the afd five hundred
   pounds of Tobo Should not be Condemned to the use of the Said Plt~
   And no person coming into Court to Shew why the Same Should not
   be Condemned as afd :    Therefore it is Considered by the Court~
   here vizt. this Twenty Second day of March Anno Domini one
   Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen That the afd Ffive hundred
   pounds of Tobacco as the Rights and Creditts of the afd Daniel Maggs
   be Condemned to the use of the afd Plt Thomas Kelley and that -
