   14                                 June Court 1716
   William Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of Said County take the afd Eliza Poulson
   to the whyping Post and there to receive as in the Judgment afd and then
   to bring her into Court againe &ca.
   After which the Same day last mentioned Came the afd Sherf & made
   return of his Said precept in all things Served and Executed pr Wm Ffrisby Sher
   ordered that the Said Eliza Poulson at the Expiration of her time She Serve
   her afd Master Mr Thomas Bowne three Months it being what the -
   Court adjuges her part for losse time trouble & disgrace of her Master
   house &ca —————
   ordered by this Court that the Sd Eliza Poulson return to her Masters -
   Service againe &ca —————

   His Lord Ship - | The afd John at last Court Entered into Recognize
           at | wth. one Surety for his appearance to this Court.
   Jno Underhill Junr | &ca— The afd John at this Court appeares in his
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | proper person to the Same Recoge & prays the Same
   may be discharged as also his Suretys recognize for his appearance &ca.
   ordered by the Court here that the Same be discharged
   John Underhill Junior afd his recognizance being taken in the Sume of
   twenty pounds Sterlign for His appearance to this Court & to Answer what
   Should be objected against him on his Said Lord Ships behalfe and in the—
   mean time he was to be of good behaviour &ca— And no person Shewing
   any cause why the Same Should not be discharged This Court here discharges
   the Same
   also John Underhill Senr. at the Same time as afd Entred into recognize
   for the appce. of the afd Jno Underhill Junr. in the Sume afd to answr. as afd
   & to be of good behaviour as afd. This Court here discharges the Same~
   The afd John Underhill Junr. being charged wth Committing fornication
   with a Certain Elizabeth Poulson as In the Record of the proceedings afd agst
   the afd Eliza. may appeare &ca. and now at this Court the afd John in his
   proper person appears to the Same and Submits to the Court and Saith
   that he cannot gainsay but that he did Committ fornication with
   the afd Eliza. Poulson and that he might be the person that begott her
   with child. Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz this —
   nineteenth day of June Anno Domi 1716 That the afd John Underhill
   Junior be taken to the whyping Post and receive on his bare back fifteen
   lashes till the blood appeare for Committing fornication as afd and also pay
   the Sume of Three hundred & five pounds of Tobacco Cost arriseing on the
   premises afd                                                                                           It
