   105                                Novembr Court 1716
   Seventeen hundred & fifteen at St Pauls Parish in Kent County afd
   within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court Stood Indebted unto the Said Willm
   in three pounds Eighteen Shillings & four pence Currant money of~
   America for value by the Said John of the Said William had viz in diver
   Goods and wares by the Said William to ye Said John at ye Instance &
   request of the Said John before that time at the place afd Sold & delivered
   and So being Indebted the Same John In Consideration thereof after =
  :wards vizt. the afd day & year at the Parish afd in the County afd
   within the Jurisdicion afd upon himselfe assumed and to the Said
   William then and there last Said faithfully promised that he the Said
   John the afd three pounds Eighteen Shillings & four pence to the Said
   William when thereto required would well & truly pay & Content~
   and that whereas also the afd John afterwards vizt. the nineth day
   of Aprill in the year afd at the Parish afd in the County afd within
   the afd Jurisdiciõn In Consideration the afd William then and there.
   last mentioned being an approved ordinary keeper had at the like
   Special instance and request of the Said John then and there last~
   mentioned Sold and delivered to the Said John to his the Said Johns
   use the divers Liquors in an Accot. hereto annexed Set forth upon
   himself Assumed and to the Said William then and there last Said
   faithfully Promised that he the Said John So much Currant money
   of America as the Said Liquors Sold and delivered as afd at the time
   of the Sale and delivery thereof at reasonable rates and values were
   worth and amounted to unto the Said William when thereunto requi:
  :red would well and truly pay and Content and the Said William in—
   deed Saith that the Said Liquors Sold and delivered as afd at the time
   of the Sale and delivery thereof at reasonable rates and values were
   worth & amounted unto the Sume of five Shillings Currant money of
   America as in ye Sd Accot Shewn of which the Said John then & there last
   Said had notice Yet   the afd John his Severall Promises and Assumptions
   afd in form afd made little minding. but fraudulently Intending the
   Said William in that behalfe to decieve and defraud the afd Severall
   Sums of money in the whole amounting to four pounds three Shillings
   & four pence Currant money of America or any part thereof to ye Said
   William altho’ afterwards vizt. the tenth day of Aprill in ye year afd
   and often after he ye Said John was by the Said William at the Parish
   afd in the County afd within the afd Jurisdiciõn thereto required hath
   not paid nor made Content for the Same but that to Pay or Content
