                                         Novembr Cort. . 1716                                     104 
   ye date of the Said writing and the other moiety thereof in 8ber Anno Domini—
   Seventeen hundred & fourteen in Some Convenient place in Kent County afd
   Yet the afd William altho’ often required the afd one Thousand Eight and
   thirty pounds of Tobacco to the afd Cornelius hath not rendered or paid or caused
   to be rendered or paid but the Same to render or pay the Said William hitherto
   hath denied & yet denys & unjustly detains to the damage of the Said Corneli:
  :us Eight pounds Sterling money and thereupon he brings Suite &ca.
                     TBowne pr Querr pls &ca. John Doe & Richd Roe
     And the Said Deft by John Roberts his attry appeared to the above
   accõn and prayd liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at—
   next Court which was granted the Same day was given the Plt alsoe
      Att which Said next Court vizt the nineteenth day of June Anno—
   Domi one Thousand Seven hundred & Sixteen the Same cause was Continued
   untill the then next Court in Course
      Att which Said next Court vizt. the twenty first day of August the Same
   year last mentioned ye Same cause was Continued untill the then next Cort in Course
        Att which Said next Court vizt this twenty fourth day of Novembr ye.
   Same year last mentioned Came the Said Plt by his afd attry And the Sd
   Deft being Solemnly called came not neither by himselfe nor attry but.
   made default whereby the Said Plt~ may remaine against the Said Deft~.
   wholly undefended= Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt.
   this twenty fourth day of November Anno Domini one Thousand Seven —
   hundred and Sixteen That the afd Plt Cornelius Harrintun Recover against
   the Said Deft William Jones as well the afd Sume of one Thousand and .
   Eight and thirty pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his Suite
   in this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent adjudged and
   the Said Deft~ to be taken into Custody
