101 Novemb.r Co.rt 1716 & prices here remaining may appear and which Said Liquors & other - ordinary Accomodations in an accot. hereto annexed Shewn amounting in the whole to the Sume of two pounds one Shilling and four pence Currant money of Maryland upon himselfe assumed and to the Said James Campbell then and there last Said (in his the Said Roberts lifetime) faithfully promised that he the Said Robert the afd two pound one Shilling & four pence Currant money afd to ye Said James Campbell when thereto required would well & truly pay & Content and that whereas also the afd Robert afterwards vizt the afd thirteenth day of 8ber Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and fifteen afd at Kent County afd within the — Jurisdiciõn of this Court in ye life time of the Said Robert In Consideration that the Said James Campbell keeping Ordinary as afd at the like Special Instance & request of the Said Robert had then and there last Said in ye lifetime of the Said Robert Sold & delivered to the Said Robert divers Liquors and other ordinary Accomodations in an Accot. thereof hereto annexed Specifically Shewn upon himself assumed and to the Said James Campbell then and there last Said faithfully Promised that he the Said Robert So much Currant money of Maryland as ye Last Said Liquors and- ordinary Accomodations Sold & delivered as afd at the time of the Sale and delivery thereof Should at reasonable rates & prices be worth and amount to unto the Said James Campbell when thereunto required would well and truly pay & Content and the afd James Campbell in deed Saith that the last Said Liquors and other ordinary Accomodations Sold and — delivered afd at the time of the Sale and delivery thereof at reasonable rates & prices were worth & amounted to ye Sume of two pounds one Shilling & four pence Currant money of Maryland in manner as in the last mentioned Accot. Shewn of which the Said Robert then and there by the Said James Campbell in ye Said Roberts life time had Notice Nevertheless the afd Robert in his life time his promises and assump= :tions afd in forme afd made as to the afd Severall Sumes of money in ye whole Amounting to the Sume of four pounds two Shillings and Eight— pence Currant money afd little regarding and the afd James Rae after the Said Roberts death to whom Letters of Administracõn hath been- Lawfully granted hath and Each of them hath little regarded the Said - Robert in his lifetime or the Said James Rae after ye death of the Said Robert the Said four pounds two Shillings & Eight pence to the Said James Campbell hath not paid altho’ to pay ye Same the Said Robert in his lifetime vizt. on the fifteenth day of 9ber Anno Domi Seventeen hundred & — fifteen at Kent County afd within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court was thereto required but altho’ the Said James Rae Since the death of the Said - Robert |
