   be found in his Baylwick & him Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said Lord
   Ships Justices Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Ches
   ter in Said County to Answer unto Mercy Green of a plea that he render to her the —
   full and Just Sume of Eleven pounds two Shillings and four pence Current money of
   this Province which to her he owes and from her unjustly detians &c^a And that he have
   then and there the Said writ &c^a. . Att which Said next Court viz this nineteenth
   day of June Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen the
   day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of Said
   County and made return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as foll^s
   viz^t. Cepi Corpus p^r W^m= Ffrisby Sher^f and now at this Court Came the afd Plt
   by Thomas Bowne his att^ry and prays that he may put in Security that .
   if the Deft afd Shall appear and plead and Non Suite the Plt in the accon
   afd. . on which Thomas Bowne afd Comes into Court and acknowledges —
   that he will pay the Deft~. all Cost in the accõn afd if the afd Plt Shall
   be non Suited and the Plt Shall not pay the Cost~. and the afd Plt by -
   her afd att^ry Prays that the Deft~ afd may give Special bayle to the above
   accõn which is granted After which Ebenezar Blackiston of Said County
   in Court came and acknowledged himselfe Special bayle for the afd
   Deft.~ and doth undertake the payment of the Debt afd and Cost there
   on accrueing if it Should happen that the Said Plt Shall obtaine Judgment~
   against the Said Deft~ in the Said Accõn of Debt and the Said Deft
   the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of
   the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the afd Ebenezar the body of—
   the Said Josias Shall not render &c^a———    and the afd Deft in his
   proper person appears to the above accõn and prays liberty thereof to
   imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court which was granted the—
   Same day is given the Plt also ——

liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at next Court which is granted
the Same day is given the Plt~ also —

   was granted and returnd Immediately Cepi &c^a. and the afd Plt by Thomas —
   Bowne his att^ry prayd the Said Deft~ might give Special bayle to the afd —
   accõn which was granted and that he be kept in Safe Custody untill he Shall
   give Special bayle &c^a After which the afd Plt~ Comes into Court And Saith
   the Said Accõn is agreed and prays it may be So entred The Same accõn agreed
   and that all proceedings therein cease &c^a ——
