                                              June Court 1714
   Joyce Hancock one Cow and Calfe price four hundred and fifty pounds of~
   Tobacco and have made known to ye above named Philip Holeadger and Joyce
   Hancock that they be and appear at the time and place within mentioned
   to Shew cause if any they have why they Should not be Condemned in their
   hand before William [Bayer?] and John Clarke good and Lawfull men of my
   baylwick in ye within writt Executeth and requireth pr Ja: Harris Shr ——
     and now at the Said Court Cometh the Said Plt by Thomas Bowne his
   Attorney and Prayeth Condemnation of the afd Ewe and Stone horse in ye.
   plts [own?] possession also one Cow and Calfe in ye Possession of Joyce Hancock
   in ye whole Amounts to ye Sume of one Thousand and Tenn pounds of —
   Tobacco. Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt this Second
   day of June Annoque Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and fourteen
   That the afd Ewe and Stone horse in ye hands of the Said Plt to ye value of five
   hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobacco also one Cow and Calfe in ye hands of
   the afd Joyce Hancock to ye value of four hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco
   in ye whole amounting to ye Sume of one Thousand and tenn pounds of Tobacco
   be Condemned to ye use of the afd Plaintife and that the Said Philip Holeadger
   have thereof Execution &ca. he the Said Philip giveing Securety According to
   Act of Assembly &ca.
      Whereupon cometh into Court James Smith of Said County & Becometh Securety for
   ye afd Philip that if the Said Deft. Shall within an year and day from awarding
   ye Same Attachment Come in and appear to ye original Accon & make it appeare
   that he the Said Philip hath been and is Satisfied ye Demand afd or Shall
   otherwise in Court Discompt or Barr ye Said Plt. of ye Sume or any part thereof .
   he the Said Philip Holeadger shall make Restitucon of the goods & Chattells .
   Condemned as afd or ye value thereof &ca.

   William Freeman | for ye Sume of forty Shillings .
                at | the Same writ was returned Endorsed as folls vizt
   John Griffin —— | Cepi Corpus pr Ja Harris Shf—   and the Sd Deft
