   These are to Certifie to ye Justices within mentioned that I have taken the
   within Catherine Geer as I am within Commanded pr
                                                                            me Edwd Davis Cunstable
    on which Came M.r Michael Miller one of his Majesties Justices for the
   afd County and made return [thereof?] a Recognizance agst the afd Katharine
   And the Said Katharine being Called Came and in her proper person~
   appeared to the Same . ordered by the Court here that the Same —
   Recognizance and her Surety for her appearance be likewise dischgd
   Katharine Gear afd her Recognizance taken on the tenth day of —
   Janry last in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterling to be paid to his afd.
   Majestie &ca. on her non appearance to be Leaveyd on her goods and —
   Chattells &ca. and that She was to appeare at this Court and to Answer
   ye afd Indictment above mentioned.. This Court here discharges ye Same
   Recognizance &ca —
   Likewise Thomas Tolley of Said County at the Same time entred into
   Recognizance in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterling to be paid to his
   afd Majestie &ca. to be Leavey’d on his goods & Chattells &ca. if in
   Case the afd Kathareine doe[?] not make her personall appearance at this
   present Court And to Answer at afd    This Court here discharges the
   Said Recognizance
        The afd Katharine being Sett to the barr The Indictment
   folls vizt. Kent County in Maryland Ss The Jurors of our Sovereigne Lord ye.
   King that now is upon there oath do prsent that Catharine Gear   of Swan
   Creek hundred in ye County aforesd Spinster on ye Thirtieth day of August
   in y.e first year of ye reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by ye grace
   of God of great Brittaine &ca. King &ca. at Swan Creek hundred in y.e
   County afd ye fear of God not haveing did Committ fornication w.th a
   Certain man to y.e Jurors unknown to ye hugh displeasure of Almigh[ty]
                                                                                                            God
