                                       March Court 1714/15                                             83 
   at the time of the Sale & Delivery of the Same were reasonably worth to the .
   Said Robert when he Should be thereto required would well & truly content & pay
   And the Said Rob.t in fact Saith that the Goods & Merchandizes afd at the time of the Sale
   & delivery thereof were reasonably worth Twenty two Shillings Currant money of
   this Province whereof the Sd George then & there had notice Yet Nevertheless the Sd
   George his promise & Assumpcõn afd as to ye Sd Severall Sums of money in the Said
   Decln & Account mentioned & contained which in the whole amounts unto the Sum
   of twenty two Shillings Currant money of this Province he hath not minded nor in
   any wise kept But althõ ye Sd George hath paid & Satisfied to him the Said Robt.
   the Sum of four Shillings of the afd twenty two Shillings part Yet the afd George
   his promise & Assumpcõn afd as to Eighteen Shillings of the afd twenty two Shills.
   residue little regarding but plotting & fraudulently intending him the Said —
   Robert of the afd Sum of eighteen Shillings craftily to deceive & defraud the.
      Same eighteen Shillings to him the Said Robert hath not paid nor Satisfied —
   therefore altho’ to pay ye Same he ye Said George afterwards vizt. on the day
   & Year afd & afterwards Since at the parish afd in the County & Jurisdiciõn
   afd by the Said Robert hath been thereto required but to him hitherto to pay hath
   altogether refused & hitherto doth refuse whereupon he Saith he is worse & hath
   Damage to the value of forty Shillings and thereupon he brings Suite &ca.
                                                   TBowne pr Querr. Plegs &ca. Jno Doe Richd Roe ~
   1713 Mr. George Hill D.r March 26th To 1 barrow hogg at £ -,,16,,- To
   12.lb of butter £ -,,6,,-    Totall £ 1,,2,,-    pr Contra Cr~. By money recd
   in part pay of ye butter £ -,,4,,- Balle due £ -,,18,,-    Errors Excepted
   pr Robert SignJohnson
   And the afd Plt~. by his afd Attry Prays that the afd Deft to his Decln.
   afd may Answer And the Said Deft being called Came and in his proper
   appeared and Saith that he cannot gainsay the Accon afd of him the Sd -
   Plt~. nor but that the Account afd is Just and true and that the Balle is
   Justly bated [?] and that he is willing that Judgment Should be entred for
   the Same and Cost thereon accrueing Therefore it is Considered by the
   Court here vizt. this Seventh day of Aprill Anno Domini one Thousand Seven
   hundred and fifteen That the afd Plt. Robert Johnson Recover against
