March Court 1714/15 the Said verdict be quashed & held for naught &ca- For cause the Said verdict varys from ye Issue ye Issue being discount and ye verdict payment Secondly the verdict Saith that ye Six hundred pounds of Tobacco mentioned was well paid but doth not Say what Tobacco nor how - paid &ca. which is manifest Error with many more in ye Sd Record &ca. TBowne pr Plt~ Which Said Reasons being read and Argued and mature deliberation being by the Court thereupon taken do adjudge the Same Good and Sufficient in Law to Stay ye verdict afd. Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz.t the Same day last mentioned That the verdict of the Jurors afd be wholly Sett a Side and taken for naught and that the Deft. take nothing by ye verdict afd. Crawford late of Sd County Clerk deceased at ye time of his death who died intestate as tis Said if She Should be found in his Baylwick and her Safe keepe So that he have her body before her Said Majesties Justices of the next Court to be held at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Thomas Crawford of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he have then and there the Said writ &ca.
