   precept it was Commanded and the Jurors by the Sherf returnd being Calld
   likewise came John Taylor Mathew Piner William Blackiston William
   Crow Charles Ringgold Robt. Green John Gale George Hanson Thomas .
   Joce Samuel Wickes Thomas Ringgold and Abraham Ambrose
   who being duely elected tryd and Sworn and the Deft afd Comes .
   into Court and takes his Corporall Oath on the holy Evangilists -
   of Almighty God that the afd Account against. John Green is —
   Just and true , And the Jury haveing heard the pleadings and .
   allegation’s on both Sides and do depart from the barr and after
   Some time do againe return to the barr and being called over do
   all appear and Likewise the Plt and Deft. do appear and the
   Jury afd being demanded whether they are agreed on a verdict or
   not do Say that they are agreed on a verdict and being asked whether
   they find for the plt~. or Deft~. do Say they find for the Deft~ and .
   that the Six hundred pounds of Tobacco was well paid and by John—
   Taylor there foreman all So Say .    .    .    But the Said Plt by his
   attry. afd moves in Stay of Judgment on the verdict afd which was
   granted and time to the then next Court to file his reasons at which~
   Said next Court viz.t this Seventh day of Apl. Anno Dmi 1715 Came the
   Said Plt by his afd Attry. and the Sd Deft~ by John Johnson his
   Attry. And the Said Plt. by his afd Attry puts in his reasons in Stay of~
   Judgment which foll. viz.t Reasons in Stay of Judgment. And the afd
   Plt. Saith that ye verdict afd against him ye Said Plt. given on behalfe
   of ye Said Deft. to Stand or be prosecuted ought not because ye Said Plt~.
   Saith ye Issue and verdict in ye Same Contained is in Sufficient in Law to cause
   or give Judgment thereupon therefore he prays Judgment and that
