                                              March Court 1714/15
   allowance for the Same .   ordered by the Court here viz That. Mary Freebourn
   pay unto the Said John Maguer the Sume of Two hundred and fourty pounds of —
   Tobacco for his attendance as an Evid.e ag.st her &ca —
   Joan Maguer wife of the afd John Maguer. Comes into Court and takes her
   Corporall Oath on the Holy Evangilists of Almighty God Saith that She attended
   Seven days as an Evidence on his Majesties behalfe against~ Mary Freebourn and
   prays an Allowance for the Same . . ordered by the Court here that. Mary
   Freebourn pay unto the afd Joan Maguer the Sume of Two hundred and tenn~
   pounds of Tobacco for her attendance as an Evidence against her &ca-
   The Clark of the Indictments prays that the afd Mary Freebourn may give .
   Surty for the Cost on the premises afd   ordered by the Court here that the
   Said Mary Freebourn give Surety for the Cost on the Premises afd as afd
   Prayd ~ -
   M.r Thomas Tolley Comes into Court And Saith that he will Pay all
   Costs Accrueing on the Premises afd to whom they are due on which the.
   officers of this Court doth discharge the Said Mary Freebourn—

   Eliz Poulson | Oath do prsent that Elizabeth Poulson of Worton Hundred in
   Servt to Mr Tho Bowne | the County afd Spinster the first day of March in the Year of our.


Lord one thousand Seaven hundred & fourteen at Worton—
   Hundred in the County afd & within the Jurisdiccõn of the Court the fear of God -
   before her Eyes not haveing but by the Instigation of the Devil as well before
   as after did Commit fornication with a Certain John Underhill Junior & thereby .
   Suffer him to begett on her body a base Child to the High Displeasure of Almighty
   God against the Peace of our Sovereigne Lord the King that now is his Crown
   & Dignity and against the forme of An Act of Assembly of this Province
