                                              March Court 1714/15

   Thomas Swinly Comes into Court and takes his Corporall Oath on the holy .
   Evangilists of Almighty God and Saith that Patrick Burk late of Said County dec.d
   was at the time of his death indebted to him the Sume of Six pounds fifteen
   Shillings Currant money —— M.r Michael Miller . absent~
   His Majestie | Commanded it was to the Cunstable of Eastern Neck —
—— | hundred the Sixth day of November in the first Year of the .
   — at | Reigne of his now Majestie King George &ca. That he take Mary.
   Mary Freebourn | Freebourn of Eastern Neck hundred in ye County afd Spinster if She.


Should be found in his hundred or near thereabouts and her Safe
   keepe So that he Carry her before the next Justice of our Sd Lord the King for Said County
   and before the Said Justice to ent.r into Recognizance with Such Sureties as the Same Justice
   Shall think fitt for her Personall appearance before the Justices of our Said Lord the.
   King at a Court to be held at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to —
   Answer unto a Certain Bill of Indictm.t found against her for Committing fornication .
   with a Certain Man unknown &ca. And that he was to have then and there the Said.
   writ &ca.    At which Said next Court viz the first day of March the Same yeare.
   last mentioned the day of return of Sd precept Came the Cunstable of the Same —
   hundred last mentioned and made returne thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as
   foll viz . These are to Certifie to ye Justices within mentioned that I have taken—
   y.e within Mary Freebourn as by ye within I am directed pr me Edward Davis Cunstable
   on which Came into Court M.r William Pott one of his Majesties Justices of the peace .
   for Said County and made return of a recognizance against the Said Mary Freebourn
   for her appearance to this Court &ca. And the Said Mary Comes into Court and in her .
   proper Person appears to the Same Recognizance and Prays that She be discharged
    ordered by the Court here that the Sd Mary Freebourn Recognizance be discharged and
   also that her Surty Recognizances for her appearance be discharged
   Mary Freebourn afd her Recognizance being taken the Seventh day of January last.
   in the Sume of Twenty pounds money of Great Brittaine to be paid to his Maj.tie &ca. and to
   be Leveyed on her goods & Chattells &ca. if in Case She did not make her personall .
   appearance at this present Court And to Answer unto a Certain Bill of Indictm.t
