Robert Meeks Recogniz.e taken in the Sume of five pounds Sterlg before ye afd Capt William Pott for his appearance to this present Court as an Evidence on his Majesties behalfe against the afd John Jones Junior the Said Recognizance is by this Court here Discharged &ca
ye. last Court for his appearance to this present Court and that in the mean time he : was to be of good behaviour to all her Majesties Liege people and Especially to Philip Kennard of Said County Merch.t and not to frequent the Dwelling Plantation of the~ Said Philip And to Answer unto all Such things as Should be objected against him on her Majesties behalfe &ca. This Court here Discharges the Said Recognizance &ca. Likewise John Headding and Laughlin Flinn Each Entred into Recognizance in ye Sume of Tenn pounds Sterlg Each &ca. for the appearance of the afd Darby Whaland at this Court &ca. and to be of good behaviour as afd & to Answer as afd The Said Recognize. each of them are by this Court Discharged &ca The Clarke of this Court Saith that the Said Darby Whaland is Indebted to him the Sume of four hundred and fifty Eight pounds of Tobacco fees Accrueing on his Severall Recognizance and Discharges on ye Same Recognizance and Severall Evidence bound against him &ca and Prays this Court here that he may have Surety . for the Same . . After which Comes into Court and John Heding of this County and - Saith that he will pay unto the afd James Smith his heires Exrs. & Administrators the Sume of four hundred and fifty Eight pounds of Tobacco for the afd Darby Whaland on which the Said James Smith Discharges the Said- Darby from the Same .
