                                              August Court 1714    .
   Margret Smith . | Her Majesties Writt of Attachmt Issued in these words folls vizt.
          at | Anne By the Grace of God of Great Brittaine France & Ireland .
   Sr Robert Dunckley | Queen Defender of the Faith &ca. To the Sherrife of Kent County —
   Greeting Wee Command you that you Attach any the Goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of Robert Dunckley
   late of Kent County Kn.t if they Shall be found in your Baylwick to ye value of Tenn pounds Eighteen
   Shillings Sterling money of Great Brittaine and Twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco & when you
   have ye Same So Attached or any part thereof the Same in your Custody keep So that you have.
   them before ye Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of .
   Chester in Said County on the first Tuesday in August next Then & there to be Condemned According
   to Act of Assembly to & for ye use of a Certain Margret Smith unless he the Said Robert Dunckley
   K.t by himselfe or his attorney Shall appear and Answer unto ye Said Margret Smith in a plea
   of Trespass upon the Case According to Law and that by good & Lawfull men of your Baylwick
   you make known unto the Person or Persons in whose hands you make ye Same Attachment
   that he She or they be and appear before ye Justices of our Said Court to be held as afd to Shew
   cause if any he She or they have why ye Same Goods Chattells rights or Creditts So Attached
   in his her or there hands ought not to be Condemned According to Law if to him her or they it~
   Shall Seem meet And how you Shall Execute this writt that you make known unto our Said Justices
   at the day & place afd and have you then and there this writt witness William Pearce —
   Gent chiefe Justices of our Said Court this fourth day of June in the thirteenth Year of our .
   Reigne &ca. Anno Dmi 1714   Bowne pr quer   JamsSmith Clk.
    Att which Said next Court viz this third day of August in the Same year afd the day of return
   of Said Writt Came William Frisby high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words.
   thereon Endorsed as folls. vizt Kent County Ss By vertue of ye within writt to me Directed to
   ye Justices within mentioned I Certifie that I have Attacht of ye goods and Chattells of the
   within named S.r Robert Dunckley to ye value of fifteen hundred thirty and two pounds.
   of Tobacco in the hands of Peter Green to Satisfie to ye within named Margret Smith~
   part of ye within mentioned Judgment and Cost and have made known to ye afd Peter
   Green that he be and appear before ye Justices within mentioned to Shew Cause if any he
   have why the Same Should not be Condemned in his hands according to Law before William
   Savory and David Young Good and Lawfull men of my Baylwick as ye within writ Exacteth~
   and Requireth pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf.
      And now at this Court Came the Said Plt. and prayd Condemnation of the above.
   mentioned fifteen hundred thirty two pounds of Tobacco in ye return of the above —
   Attachment in the hands of the above mentioned Peter Green as Garnishe of the afd
   Deft. as being the Rights and Creditts of ye Said Deft Sr Robert Dunckley And the.
   Said Peter Green being Called Came not nor any person for him to Shew Cause why .
   the afd Tobacco Should not be Condemned for the use of the afd plt~. by which
