                                              August Court 1714

   Mr. Thomas Tolley of this County Produceth in Court a Certiorari from the Provinciall
   Court Dated the Tewnty fourth day of July last Returnable to the third Tuesday in September
   next Signed John Beale Clk Wornell Huntt Attry   Allowed pr Samuel Young Esqr.
   one of the Justices of the Provinciall Court for the Removeing a Certain Cause to the Proll.
   Court on Commitment for Refuseing to enter into Recognizance not to Cohabitt with a Certain
   Mary Freebourn The Same being Read in Court is allowed and ordered That a Copy of .
   the Same be made out which is Accordingly done.
   Mr Michael Miller take[s] his place and Sitts on the Bench—
   Capt Edward Scott Comes into Court and Acknowledges   a Deed of gift for one -
   hundred Acres of Land being part of tract of Land Called Town Reliefe to Samuel Phillips
   of this County.
                     Proclamation the Cunstables of this County bring in the List of the
   Taxables in ye Same County .vizt Edward Beck Jun.r of Langfords Bay Low.r hundred John-
   Hall of Langfords upr. hundred Arthur Foreman of Chester hundred Benjamin Griffith-
   of Worton hundred [William?] Jones of Low.r South Sassafras hundred William Johnson of Morgans Creek.
   hundred Thomas Pryer of upr. South Sassafras hundred William Edward Davis of Easter neck .
   hundred they all appear and Deliver to this Court there Severall Lists of Taxables in~
   there Severall hundreds which are by this Court Examined &ca ———
   M.rs Mary Bowles Comes into Court and Acknowledges a Deed of gift for two .
   hundred Acres of Land Called Green Bank to George Hastins [?] & Mary his wife of this County .
   M.r Michael Miller of this County Comes into Court and prays that what he .
   hath to Say in Relation to makeing over fifty Acres of Land to a Certain William Granger
   of this County According to ye tenour of a Bond from himselfe to ye Said Granger to make
   over ye Same may be entered on Record that he is ready to do ye Same The which is granted
   by this Court and that the Clarke of ye Court enter ye Same as is requested The Said —
   M.r Michael Miller Comes into Court Saith that he is ready & willing to make over [unto?] to ye.
   afd William Granger fifty Acres of Land Called being part of tract of Land Called [ye neglect~?]
   but the Said Granger is not now at Court to take ye Same Acknowledgement— So that
   there[upon?]   be no further done in the Same~.
        Proclamation that ye. appearance Dockett is goeing to be Called over vizt.
   Francis Cooke & | This being an Accon of Trespass upon ye Case and the Same writ being returned Endorsed
   John Johnson— . | as folls viz Cepi Corpus pr Wm Frisby Shf-   And the Said Samuel being Called .
          at | Came And in his proper person appeared to the above Accon and prayd Liberty.

| thereof to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court which is granted the -
   Samuel Excell— | Same day is given the Plaintife also ———
