                                         June Court 1714                                                       20  
    M.r Francis Cooke one of the attorneys of this Court Comes into Court And
   Prays that John Evans of Said County may be bound to his good behaviour for
   that he the Said John Seems to indeavour to d[oe] one the Said Francis Some
   bodily Hurt to which he Prays his Oath may be Tendered And the Said Francis
   Cooke takes his Corporall Oath on the Holy Evangilists of Almighty God and .
   Saith that he Stands in fear of the Said John Evans and that he belives
   the Said John will do him Some bodily hurt and that he doth the Same—
   without any Private Malice or for vexation but of very fear and for ye
   need full Safety of his body and rpays that he may entr into Recognizance
   on Account of the Same   The said John Evans being Called Came and in
   his Proper Person appeared to the Same And is ordered to give Surety &
   to Enter unto Recognize for his appearance at next Court and good behaviour
   in ye mean time
      John Evans afd Comes into Court and Acknowledgeth himselfe indebted
   to her Majestie Queen Anne her Heirs & Success.rs in the full and Just Sume
   of forty Shillings Sterllg to be Leveyed on his goods and Chattells Lands
   & Tenement Conditionally that if he do not make his personall appce
   at the next Court And then and there to Answer unto all Such things
   as Shall be objected against him on behalfe of her Majestie and —
   that in the mean time to be of good behaviour to all her Majesties good
   people and Especially to the Same Francis Cooke the Said John Evans
   Acknowledgeth himselfe therew.th to be Content—
        Likewise M.r Daniel Pearce and Doctor John March both of this
   County here in Court Cometh and Do Acknowledge themselves indebted to her.
   Majestie Queen Anne   Heirs and Successors in the full and Just Sume
   of Twenty Shillings Sterling Each to be Leveyed on there goods and Chattells
   Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the Said John Evans do not—
   make his personall apeparance at the next Court and to Answer as —
   abovesd and that in the Mean time he is to be of good behaviour to
   all her Majesties good people and Especially to Francis Cooke above mention’d
   wherewith they Acknowledge themselves therew.th to be Content~ ———
