                                         June Court 1714
   Bartho Browne |   Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County ye Seventh
           at | day of Novemb.r in the twelfth Year of the Reigne of her
   Daniel Coly —      | now Majestie Anne &ca. That he take Daniel Coly late .


of Kent County afd Planter if he Should be found in his
   Baylwick & him Safe keepe So that yo have his body before her Siad Majesties Justices
   of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chest.r in Said County to
   Answer unto Bartholomew Brown of a plea of Trespass upon ye Case and that he —
   have then and there the Said writt &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt the Second day
   of March ye Same Year Last mentioned the day of return of Said writt Came James .
   Harris Gentn high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words
   thereon Endorsed as foll.s viz.t Cepi Corpus   pr Ja Harris Shf.
   And A Declaration being fild when Said writt Issued forth and a Copy thereof —
   Served therew.th According to Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as foll viz
   Maryland Kent County Ss   Daniel Coly late of Kent County afd Planter Stands . —
   Attached to Answer unto Bartholomew Browne of a plea of Trespass upon ye Case .
   And Whereupon ye Said Plt by Thomas Bowne his attorney complains for that—
   whereas ye afd Plt. haveing attained to a Competent Skill & Knowledge in ye Arts.
   & Mistreys or Sciences of Physicks & Chyrurgery and in the Said Sciences Lawfully.
   Practiseing the Same plt in the fifth day of 7.ber in ye Year of our Lord Christ—
   Seventeen hundred & twelve at ye Parish of S.t Paul in Kent County afd within .
   ye Jurisdiccõn of this Court at ye Special instance & request of the afd Deft—
   Did & had Prepared Administred and Delivered unto the Said Deft divers —
   Medicinal & Physicial Preparitions for his the Said Defts proper use and made
   & performed in his the Said Plts afd Practices divers vissits to divers of ye Said
   Defts. family which they Languished under divers grievous Maladys & indeavouring
   to Restore them So Languishing to health did divers good Services in his afd -
   Practice all for ye Proper use and behoofe of ye Said Deft which Said Medicines
   & Physical preparitives Said [?] visits & Services Specifically appear in an Account
   commenceing ye Second day of March Anno Seventeen Hundred & Eleaven &
   Ending ye afd fifth day of 7.ber hereunto Annexed in Consideration whereof
   he ye Said Deft on ye afd fifth day of 7.ber Anno Domini Seventeen hundred
   and twelve afd at the Parish in the County & jurisdiccõn afd upon himselfe
                                                                                                          Assumed
