   the Devill did Commit fornication with a certain Mary Neale of ~
   Worton Hundred afd to the High Displeasure of Almighty God &
   against the peace of our Sovereigne Lord the King that now is —
   his Crown and dignity & against the forme of an Act of ~
   Assembly of this Province now in force in Such Case made &
   provided Johnson pr Dne Rege - Billa vera pr Edwd —
   Pleasto foreman— and the Said Deft~. being at the barr
   the Indictmt~. afd being read he pleads not Guilty and for
   tryal puts himselfe on God and Country Meeks pr prsona
   and he who prosecutes for ye King Says he is Guilty
                                                         Johnson pr Dne Rege—
   Prays Council Mr Thomas Bowne order’d by this Court as
   Council for the afd James
   Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that
   he cause to come here twelve &ca by whome &ca. who —
   neither &c.a to Recognize &c.a Because as well &c.a And the
   Sherf of Said County Comes and Saith that he hath here
   ready twelve &ca. who being Called Likewise came vizt
   Thomas Hynson John Greenwood John Underhill John Green~
   John Talbott Arthur Foreman William Jones Daniel—
   Cooley Abraham Ambrose John Faning John Williams —
   Thomas Gideon who being duely Elected tryd and Sworn-
   and haveing heard the pleadings Evidences and allegations
                       with draw and after Some time do againe
   on both Sides do^ return to the barr and being called over
   as also the Prosecuter and the party do all appear and the -
                                                                                       Jury
