Sixteen hoggs of the price of Nine hundred and Sixty . pounds of Tobacco of the Goods and Chattells of a certain person unknown then and there being found feleniously did Steale take & bear away agst the peace of our Sovereign Lord the King that now is his Crown & dignity & against the forme of an act of Assemb[:] :ly of this Province in that Case made & provided Johnson pr Dne Rege Evidences John Jones James Brower [?] John Heading Saml Wallis Robert Darby Nichs Ryley Billa Vera pr Edwd Plesto foreman John Johnson Clarke of the Indictments . Comes into Court and by the Consent of the Court orders that~ the afd Indictm.t~ be no farther prosecuted Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this twentifourth day of March Annoqe Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen That the Said William Smithers be acquited from the afd Indictment & that he go thereof without day paying the Ffees accruing to the officers of this Court~ on the Same Amounting to the Sume of one Thousand forty two pounds of Tobacco Jams Smith Clk:
