March Court 1715 173 Roberts and John Johnson his attrys and Puts in Reasons as folls viz Which reasons being read and argued and mature delibera: :tion being by the Court thereupon taken Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz this twenty forth day of March Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen That the Reasons afd are good and Sufficient in Law to Barr the Plt afd from maintain[:] :ing his accõn afd according to the verdict of the Jurors afd and that the Same be wholly Set a Side and taken for nothing: And the Plt by his attry afd Prays that he may have liberty to amend . his Decln and Consents that the Court will tax him with Cost~ on the Same which is granted And that the Said Thomas Bowne Pay to the afd Deft the Sume of fifty pounds of Tobacco Cost assessed by the Court for his omision in his Decln afd and that he have liberty to Amend the Same . And that A veniry Issue a new returnable to the next Court and thereupon the Same accõn is by this Court Continued untill next Court
