   Jacob Glenn | Kent County Ss John Edwards of Kent County Planter was
          —— | attached to Answer unto Jacob Glen Chyrurgeon of a plea
           at | of Trespass on the Case &ca. And whereupon the Same
   Jno Edwards — | Jacob Glenn by James Earle his attry Complains that~
   whereas ye afd John Edwards y.e first day of February Anno Domi one
   thousand Seven hundred and fourteen at S.t Pauls Parish in Kent County
   afd and within y.e Jurisdiciõn of this Court Stood Justly indebted to the
   Same Jacob in the Just And full Sume of Eight hundred pounds
   of good Sound Merchantable Tobacco being for divers Physical medi
  :cines Sold delivered and administred to the Said John by the Said Jacob
   and at ye Special Instance & request of the Said John (.as by a particular
   accompt thereof) here into Court brought may more at large appr.
   and being So indebted the Same John in Consideration thereof the
   Said first day of Ffebry in the year Seventeen hundred and fourteen—
   afd at St Pauls Parish in K.t County afd and within y.e Jurisdicion afd
   upon himselfe assum’d and to the Said Jacob then and there faithfully
   promised that he the Said John ye afd Sum of Eight hundred pounds
   of good Sound Merchantable Tob.o as afores.d to the Said Jacob when—
   Ever afterwards he Should be by ye Said Jacob required would well~
   and truly Content and Pay Nevertheless the afd John his promise
   and assumpn. afd So as afd made not in the least regarding but alto:
  :geather minding and fraudulently intending him the Said Jacob in thi[s]
   part Craftilly and Subtilly to deceive and defraud ye afd Sume of Eight-
   hundred pounds of Tob.o qualified and Conditioned as afd to the Said -
   Jacob altho to do the Same he was So to do required by the Said
   Jacob to wit ye tenth day of Aprill in ye Year of our Lord one Thousand
   Seven hundred and fifteen at St Pauls Parish in Kent County afd and wthin
   ye Jurisdiciõn afd and divers other days and times as well before as
   Since hath not paid but the Same to pay hath refused and Still doth
   refuse wherefore the Said Jacob he is ye worse and hath last to ye value
