                                    March Court 1715
   James Earle his attorney and Saith that the Deft~ afd hath
   not given him any Instructions to plead whereby the afd Plt~ may
   Still remain undefended Therefore it is Considered by the Court
   here viz.t this twenty fourth day of March Anno Domini one Thousand
   Seven hundred and fifteen That the afd Plt. Edward Plesto Recover
   against the afd Deft~. Thomas Pindergrass as well the Sume of Two.
   Thousand pounds of Tobacco the Debt afd as also the Sume of Three
   hundred Seventy Seven pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt~ ab.t
   his Suite in this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent
   adjudged And that the afd Deft~. be taken into Custody &ca——

   George Gleaves Jur. | Dics George Gleaves Junr. of Kent County in the —
   province of Maryland wheelwright was Summoned to Answer unto Natha:
  :niell Hynson of a plea that he render to him the Sume of one pound —
   Nineteen Shillings Stearling money which to him he oweth and unjustly
   detaineth and one Thousand and forty Six pounds of Sound bright Dry
   Tobacco of the value of Eighty Seven Shillings and two pence Sterling
   money which he unjustly detains &ca. And Whereupon the afd Nathl.
   by Thomas Bowne his attorney Saith that Whereas the afd George
   the Sixteenth day of May Anno Domini Seventeen hundred & fourteen
   at the Parish of St Pauls in Kent County afd within the Jurisdiciõn of .
   this Court by his Certain bill obligatory which the Said George Sealed with
   his Seale and as his deed Delivered hereinto Court brought the date whereof
   is the Same day and Year afd bound & obliged himselfe his heires -
   Executors and Administrators in the afd one pound nineteen Shillings
   Sterling money and ye afd one Thousand & forty Six pounds of Tobacco
   Qualified as afd of the afd value of Eighty Seven Shillings & two pence
   Sterling money for the well and true payment of the full & Just Sume
   of Nineteen Shillings & Six pence Sterling money & five hundred & Twenty
   three pounds of Sound bright Dry Tobacco in well Seasoned Cask Convenient
