   one Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen That the afd Plt —
   Thomas Smyth Recover against the Said Deft~ Thomas Joce as
   well the afd Sume of five hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco
   the Debt afd as also the Sume of Three hundred and fourteen~
   pounds of Tobacco Cost by the Said Plt~ about his Suite in this —
   behalfe laid out & Expended and the Said Deft~ in mercy

   James Harris . | Commanded it was to the Sherf of
           —— | Kent County the Sixteenth day of Novembr
             at | in the Second Year of the Reigne of his now
   William Mackey | Majestie George &ca. That he take William
   Mackey of Kent County Carpenter alis Dics Will.m Mackey of Kent County
   in the Province of Maryland Carpenter if he Should be found in his
   Baylwick & him Safe keep So that he have his body before his Sd
   Majesties Justices of the next County Court to be held at our Court~.
   house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto James
   Harris Gentleman of the County & province aforesd of a plea that he
   render unto him the full and Just Quantity of Nine hundred
   and forty pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tobacco Clear
   of grounds leafs & Trash and Casque to Containe the Same which
   from him he unjustly detains And that he have then and
   there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt the twentieth
   day of March the Same year last mentioned the day of return—
   of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of Said County
   and made return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as —
   folls viz Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sher.  . . . And a Decln being fild
   when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof Served therew.th
   (according to Act of Assembly in Such Case made) which was
   as folls vizt. Kent County in Maryland Ss William Mackey of Kent
