                                    March Court 1715
   his body before his Said Majesties Justices of the next County Court to be
   held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto
   George Hill of a plea of Trespass upon the Case And that he have then~
   & there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the twentieth -
   day of March ye Same year last mentioned the day of Return of Said.
   writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of Said County and made
   return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr
   Wm Ffrisby She.r. And the Said Deft by John Roberts his attorney
   appears to the above accõn and prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto
   and to answ.r at next Court which is granted the Same day is given~
   the Plt~ also —

   John Hughes | George &ca To the Sherf of Kent County
                at | greeting Whereas at a Court held at our
   Thomas Joce Exr | Court house on Chester River in the Town of
   Thomas Joce~~ — | Chester in Said County on the Twenty fifth~
   ————————— | day of June in the year of our Lord Christ one
   thousand Seven hundred & Six before Col Thomas Smyth and his associat[es]
   then Justices of the peace for our late Lady Queen Anne &ca. for the Coty
   afd in Court Judicially Sitting then held for Kent County afd in a Cause.
   then and there depending Between John Hughes of the Same County
   Plt. and Thomas Joce of Sd County otherwise called Thomas Joce and
   Sarah his wife of Kent County Defendants the Said John Hughes -
   Recovered Judgment[s?] against the Said Defts as well for the Sume of
   two thousand five hundred twenty & Eight pounds of Tobacco a Certain
   debt whereof they the afd Thomas Joce and Sarah his wife are
   Convict as appears upon Record as also the Sume of two hundred
   and fifteen pounds of Tobacco Cost of Suite and for that Execution
   have not thereupon Yet Issued wee Therefore Command you that
