                                         March Court 1715
   Cornelius Harenton | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent Coty
                at | the Sixteenth day of November in the —
   William Jones —— | Second year of the Reigne of his now Majestie
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | George &ca. That he take William Jones of~
   Kent County Planter ali Dics W.m Jones of Kent County in ye Province of
   Maryland if he Should be found in his Baylwick and him Safe keep So that
   he have his body before his Said Majesties Justices of the next Court to be
   held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer
   unto Cornelius Harentun by ye name of Cornelius Harintun of Baltemore
   County Carpenter of a plea that he render to him ye full Sum & Just quan[tity]
   of one thousand eight & thirty pound of good Sound Merchantable lefe
   Tobacco in Cask to Contain ye Same of ye value of four pounds Six Shillings
   & Six pence Sterling money of Great Brittaine which he unjustly detains
   &ca. And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca. .    Att which Said
   next Court vizt. the twentieth day of March the Same year last mentioned
   the day of return of Sd writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of
   Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed
   as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Frisby She.r and the Said plt being not
   an Inhabitant of this County rule is given that Surety for the Sd Plt be put
   in to Answ.r ye Deft his Cost if the Sd Plt Should be non Suited in ye afd Accõn
   After which Came into Court Mr Thomas Bowne and Mr. William Frisby
   both of this County and Acknowledged themselves joyntly and Severally
   Surety for the Said Plt. in the afd Accon and the Cost ariseing on the Same
   if in Case the Said Deft Shall appear to the Same and Non Suite the Plt
   in the Same accõn that if the afd Plt Should not pay ye Same Cost that
   they or either of them will do it for him~ . After which the Sd Plt by
   Thomas Bowne his attry Prays that the Said Deft~ may give Special
   bayle to the above accõn which is granted and that William Frisby Gent
   high Sherf. of Said County keep the afd Deft~ in Safe Custody untill he
   Shall give Special bayle to the above accõn . After which Came int[o]
   Court Thomas Thackston of this County and Acknowledged himselfe as .
   Special bayle to the afd Accõn and undertook the payment of the De[bt]
   afd. and Cost thereon accrueing if it Should happen that the Said Plt.
   should obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft. in the afd Accõn of Debt.
