   there faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft~ So much Currant money
   of Maryland as ye afd Plt~ for ye Services afd done & performed as afd Should —
   reasonably deserve and also So much Currant money of Maryland [illegible] afd
   materials found & provided as afd Should at the time of ye finding [&] provid[ing]
   afd be reasonably worth and reasonable rates & values amounted into to [ye]
   Same Plt. when thereunto afterwards required would well & truly pay &
   Content And the afd Plt in deed Saith that for the Services afd done &
   performed as afd he reasonably deserves ye Sum of one pound & fifteen —
   Shillings Currant money of Maryland and that the afd Materials found &
   provided as afd at ye time of the finding & providing afd were reason:
  :ably worth & at reasonable rates & values amounted to ye Sum of one
   pound Sixteen Shillings currant money of Maryland in manner as in~
   ye afd Account Shewn in the whole amounting to the Sume of three
   pounds & Eleven Shillings currant money of Maryland and which the
   Said Deft then & there afd had notice Yet the afd Deft his promise
   & assumption afd little minding but fraudulently intending ye Said Plt
   in that behalfe the afd three pounds & Eleven Shillings to the Sd Plt~
   altho’ afterwards vizt. on ye afd Sixteenth day of 9ber in the Year afd -
   he was at ye Parish afd in the County & Jurisdiciõn afd thereto required
   hath not paid nor made Content therefore but the Same to him to pay
   or content ye Said Deft hitherto hath denied & yet denys to ye damage
   of the Said Plt. Seven pounds currant money of Maryland & thereupon
   he brings Sute &ca. TBowne pr Quer Plegs &ca. John Doe & Richd Roe.
