                                         March Court 1715
   his promises & assumptions afd &ca. and what Shall be done here[in?]
   that the Sherf make Return thereof to our Justices at the then next Court

   John Young | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent
             —— | County ye Sixth day of Novemb.r in the Second Year
                at | of the Reigne of his now Majestie George &ca. That
   John Hodges | he take John Hodges of Kent County Mariner if he

Should be found in his Baylwick & him Safe keep
   So that he have his body before his Said Majesties Justices of the next Cort.
   to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to the
   Answer unto John Young of Sd County Taylor of a plea of Trespass upon
   ye Case And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca. . . . . .
   Att which Said next Court vizt. the Twentieth day of March ye Same
   yeare last mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came William—
   Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in
   these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Shef.
   And a Decln being fild when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof
   Served therewth. (according to Act of Assembly in Such Case made) was as
   folls vizt Kent County Ss John Hodges of Kent County Mariner was attaich’d
   to Answer unto John Young of Sd County Taylor of a plea of Trespass upon
   ye Case And Whereupon the Said Plt by Thomas Bowne his attry.
   Complains for that whereas the afd Deft~ ye Sixteenth day of 9ber. Anno -
   Domini Seventeen hundred & fifteen at the Parish of S.t Paul in Kent
   County afd within ye Jurisdiciõn of this Court In Consideration that the afd
   Plt. then & there at ye. Speciall Instance & request of the Said Deft had
   done and performed for him the Said Deft~ divers Services in ye art &
   mistry of a Taylor and also found and provided divers necessarys Materials
   in and to the doing & performing ye Said Services for ye use and behoofe
   of the Same Deft~ and in an Account thereof hereto annexed ——
   Specifically Shewn upon himselfe assumed & to the Said Plt then &
